Lucid Pricing and Fee Structure

Lucid’s fee structure for asset transfers is designed to be flexible and tailored to each specific route and asset. Instead of having a fixed fee across the board, we set the fee, measured in basis points (bps), in collaboration with the ecosystem foundation. This means the exact fee can vary depending on the asset type and the chosen route.

How It Works:

  • When you select an asset and a route in the Lucid interface, the platform will display the exact protocol fee that applies to that specific transaction. This custom approach ensures that fees are transparent and aligned with the specific needs and costs associated with each route.

Why This Matters:

  • Tailored Fees: Each chain and asset combination might have different operational costs or liquidity considerations, so the fee is adjusted to match those factors.

  • Transparency: Users can see the exact fee before they confirm a transaction, so there are no surprises.

  • Flexible and Adaptive: As we onboard new chains or introduce new assets, we can dynamically adjust fees to remain competitive and fair.

In summary, Lucid’s fee structure is not one-size-fits-all. Instead, it’s a flexible, route-specific model that ensures you always know the fee for your transaction upfront, tailored to your chosen asset and path.
